Their BACK!
High Island, Texas

The fish that is! First of all I want to thank GOD for such a wonderfull day on the beach with good friends. I had planned to hit SW on friday but work had other plans. When we showed up on the sand in the wee hours of 10am the tide was 50-60 yards low. We sat there for about an hour without a bite except for all the mosequitoes! At least the wind kept them at bay. Once the tide started to come in the fish catching began. We had doubles and even a triple. Once the high tide came in the bite stoped so we had time to grab something too eat. The tide started to drop and the catching started all over again! TJ and family came by and his little girl caught a fish that I'm sure he will post a picture or two. The whole time we were there the bait was not around but the pelicans were woking further out most of the time. Total count was 1 BU and 19 bull redfish ranging from 39 to 45 inches. We also lost a few. Crab was the prefered bait for the day. Check out these pic's.

The first fish off the beach for Team CBF!
36" BU not a bad start!

Joe in action with a BIG marsh fire going in the background.

First double of the year. It's tough to get seperate pictures with just two guys fishing.

Another crab caught redfish! Things are looking up for the day!

Take a look at this beast! The fish is pretty big too. 45" long and fat. Biggest of the day.

Another good fsih!

Joe is starting to school me! Pun intended! :laughing4:

Now this is a REDfish!

Dificulties of a double! A good problem to have while fishing!

Is it me or does it look like a catfish left it's prints on fish #6?

Look at what the high tide brought in! Even a lost boy can catch a fish or two!

Joe with an almost perfet redfish. The only thing wrong with the fish was that it was not on my line!

Good friend Rod Dawg even showed up too say hi. hear he tore them up off the yak down the beach. Good seeing you my friend.

#20 for the day! We lost a fish, I boke off this fish then Joe eventually landed this fish which had my leader tangled on this leader. I would say we doubled teamed this one.

Team C.B.F. scores again!

I thank God for blessings he has given this family!

FISH HARD or STAY HOME with your MOMMY!
